Merola’s 2024 Benefit Gala was an Affair to Remember

On April 13, 2024, Merola supporters gathered at the iconic City Club of San Francisco for the organization’s first black-tie gala since 2019. This wonderful night evoking art deco elegance raised over $300,000 for Merola’s 2024 program. Truly an “Affair to Remember!”

After her summer at Merola in 1988 she went on to a brilliant career on opera stages around the world, and in 2018, she expanded her talents into directing. She returns to Merola this summer to stage Don Giovanni. Join this world-renowned soprano, her wife Beth Clayton (a mezzo-soprano and integrative performance coach), and hosts Myron Marx and Cora Yang for a multi-course dinner at the magnificent Villa Taverna.
