Inside Data Processors

If you apply for a Career Grant after your Merola Opera Program training, we collect enough personal information from you to decide about the granting of the Career Grant. You can at any time request a copy of an old career grant by using the Subject Access Request form. Career Grant forms are held offline in a secure environment and then destroyed after 5 years when your eligibility has expired.

Student ConneXion Program: We collect this data to determine if you are eligible for the Student ConneXion program. The data is kept in a secure facility and only used to determine eligibility and standing. The data is not shared with anyone outside of Merola and only on a "need to know" basis. The information is destroyed after two years. This data is also available to members and ex-members of the program through a Subject Access Request.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, accounting or membership) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
